Hi Friends,
If you ever have to use a “public” computer, like in a hotel,or library….
Here is some information that you may find interesting, especially,if you are a Facebook Friend.

Facebook has introduced “one-time,” disposable passwords that can be used if you’re signing in from a public computer.

You send a text message from your cell, texting “otp” to 32665, and “you’ll immediately receive a password that can be used only once and expires in 20 minutes.

In order to access this feature, you’ll need a mobile phone number in your account.

The optional offering is being rolled out “gradually.

Your Friend,
heidi

Whoa…
I did it..
Actually, Dr.Kevin Keller at Upstate plastic Surgery did it.
Two weeks ago, I had a breast reduction and lift.
Hawk and Tom call it a crime against nature.
I call it wonderful.

I am not sure what it will all look like yet.
Dr. Keller says it will take a few weeks for things to settle into place.
I do know that I am already so happy with the changes!

I knpw that plastic surgery isnt for everyone. I have confidence in my doctor and his wonderful staff. And, after trying workouts and nutrition plans, there are just some areas that wont change with diet and excercise.
So, I decided plastic surgery was the route to take.

I was out of work for just 5 days. I feel pretty much up-to-speed now..just 2 weeks after the procedure.

it is a decision that requires thought and 2nd opinions,so, good luck if you are choosing the same option..

I am looking forward to getting back to ultra-fit and really seeing the difference that workouts and diet will now have on my new look!

xoxo

Dear friends,
How is it that a group of students can make amazing things happen? Teens with busy schedules, stresses and immediate needs, how can they drop everything to successfully lead a fundraiser?
How can they organize, execute and manage a fundraising program that raises over $135,000 for the community!
JL Mann students did just that during their Spirit Week that just ended. They raised the funds for The Beach Ball Foundation to benefit Shriiners Childrens Hospital, GHS Childrens Autism Center, and other area charities.
They decided to blow up any notion that the slow economy would hold them back..They blew up the notion that few would participate..
Its with perserverance and passion that the students at JL Mann created a plan, and made it happen. A great life lesson for all of us!
Congratulations are in order for Greenville High School as well. The students raised nearly $100,000 for their charity..Amazing…
While it is called a Spirit Week “competition” , I can say it is actually a spirit of unity and giving that has, instead, created a bond between the two “rivals”.
A bond and partnership that will make us a stronger community and better friends..
thank you to both schools for caring so much. and for giving so much!
With gratitude,
sincerely

Dear friends,
Please consider supporting JL Mann students in reaching their goal to raise money for The Beach Ball Foundation. The BBF supports Shriners Childrens Hospital, and The GHS Childrens Hospital, and as many as 20 other local charities.
An easy way to help is to text-to-give. I see how being spirited can help the community and make you feel like you are a part of a greater good..so,

“Text the word SPIRIT to 85944 to give $10 to The Beach Ball Foundation & Shriner’s Hospital, GHS Children’s Hospital, & other area charities, during J.L.Mann High Spirit Week! Be sure to respond to the confirmation text you will receive!”

Thank you.
Heidi

Hi friends,
help me through a most difficul time in my life.
My acrylic nails are gone.
They started to come off during vacation.
So, I thought it would be a great time to “go natural”.
BUT,as many of you likely know, if you ,too, have had fake nails for any length of time, your real nails are yukky. My nails are paper thin, sensitive and short!

I am going through fingernail withdrawl and it hurts!!

Any suggestions about how to get ‘em to grow and look better would be greatly appreciated!!

I had the pleasure of judging the G Magazine Last Band Standing contest held Thursday evening. After on-line voting at gvillemag.com, the field of bands was narrowed to 4 who performed at the Handlebar. In front of a large, and supportive crowd, “Lionz of Zion” took the top spot. The funk-reggae group will play the Red,White and Blue Festival July 4th in downtown Greenville. You have to se ‘em. They are wildlly original, not to mention, cute!
It was a well-run and most exciting event that will liley become a signature event for G Magazine!

Honest Differences: #10 Income Disclosure

Only one candidate has been completely open and honest about their sources of income. That is Gresham Barrett!

Gresham Barrett
During his years as a public servant, Gresham Barrett never received any fees or income from companies that had business before the state or federal government.
Gresham reports all his income annually on his congressional financial disclosure form, which is open to the public. Gresham also voluntarily posted his most recent congressional financial disclosure to his website. (Barrett for Governor Website, www.greshambarrett.com, Accessed 6/15/10)
Gresham voluntarily released 2007, 2008 and 2009 personal income taxes. (Barrett for Governor, Press Release, 6/10/10)

Nikki Haley
As a State Legislator, Haley consulted for Wilbur Smith Associates for two years at the time the company was seeking lucrative state contracts. (WIS-TV, 6/19/10)
Haley repeatedly failed to disclose her Wilbur Smith income on her state ethics reports, despite claiming that she had made all her income public. (The State, 6/18/10)
Haley won’t say how much the company paid her and has failed to make her 2007 and 2008 tax records public, despite promises to do so. (WIS-TV’s “11 O’Clock News,” 6/19/10)
Haley has refused to say what she did for Wilbur Smith in 2007 and 2008. (CNN’s “Political Ticker” Blog, 6/18/10)

Please vote Gresham Barrett today! We need an experienced leader to help SC .

HALEY HIDES CONSULTING MONEY – opposite the openess she says she wants..

Haley Repeatedly Failed to Disclose Income from Company That Had Business Before the State; Barrett Campaign Calls on Haley to Release Tax Returns, Business Contracts

At the WIS debate last week, Representative Haley claimed “everything is out there” in regards to her financial disclosure forms and personal tax returns.
Not true!

An article in The State newspaper ..says that Haley, as a legislator in 2008-2009, she took money from Wilbur Smith, a private company that did business with state government, and repeatedly failed to disclose this income on her Statement of Economic Interest Form both in 2008 and 2009.

Haley has centered her campaign on beign open and transparent…BUT .,.. it appears she doesnt practice what she is preaching.

The Haley – Smith relationship presents a clear conflict of interest for Representative Haley and raises serious questions.

Gerhsma Barrett is calling on Representative Haley to release financial documents to provide transparency regarding her relationship with Wilbur Smith. Specifically, she needs to release her 2007 and 2008 tax returns in order to answer questions about the amount of income she received from Wilbur Smith while the company had business before the State Legislature.

The Barrett campaign is calling on Representative Haley to:

Release her 2007 and 2008 tax returns (Congressman Barrett has made his 2007, 2008, and 2009 tax returns available for viewing at his campaign office);
Immediately correct her Statement of Economic Interest to accurately reflect the income she earned from Wilbur Smith;
Immediately disclose her contract with Wilbur Smith stating what exactly she was paid for;
Disclose any other consulting work she did for businesses during her time as a State Legislator.

Please consider these revelations before voting..and choose the open,honest,candidate- Gresham Barrett. He is the proven leader that SC’s NEEDS.
thank you for hearing me out..
your friend,
heidi
