How Do You Find A Hobby?

Ok, I need your help here. I am very fortunate to get home from work early in the day and have realized that I’m not doing ANYTHING with my time. I pray for rain so I won’t feel bad when I’m laying on the couch all day. Then, when it is sunny outside, I always find something to do in the house so I don’t have to leave. Am I weird? I think I need a hobby.

How does one find a hobby? It seems that hobbies are something you have throughout your whole life and to sit down one day and figure out what hobby to have is hard. I need help. Don’t get me wrong, there are things I love to do such as camping. I also like boating and swimming and drinking and hanging out with my great friends, but I don’t consider any of those things a hobby.

I’m not saying I want to start collecting stamps, is that really a hobby? If so, then I have a hobby of collecting hats, shot glasses, koozies and ash trays (don’t ask). But I don’t consider collecting anything to be a hobby. I do like to cook a little, but never find any good cooking classes in town. I also like to travel, but my car is so old and plane tickets cost so much, that I have put traveling on hold for a while.

So.. I need your help. I need a hobby. Please send me any suggestions you have. If it takes me a little while to get back to you, don’t worry. I’ll be napping on the couch.

Everyone needs a hobby! Unfortunately I can’t think of many, but here’s a few: grow a flower or veggie garden or paint, painting doesn’t have to be on canvas, there’s tons of stuff at Michael’s that you can buy and paint, such as Christmas ornaments.

Hey Kato, I think I might know a hobby you can do. Try getting a bike. Seriously you can enjoy the scenery get great exercise and even do it while your camping. Also they have drink holders you can put on your bike. give it a try, its fun

There are TONS of hobbies lol!!! I’ve found that i LOVE photography and luckily im able to combine my love of photography and my passion for music. I go to alot of shows featuring local bands and along with discovering new talent and new friends I take loadssss of pictures in the process. If it happens to be during the day i get bored or whatever i get in my jeep and i drive until i see something interesting to photograph. I know thats weird probably but hey its an idea and its better than nothing HAHA love all you guys!!!

Kato: What beautiful blue eyes you have!! I have a suggestion for you…I need some help with some prep work for my jewelry business…I need someone to do some basic work, things I no longer have time to do, and I could show you how to use my torch, teach you how to solder, or hammer metal! The pay isn’t great, but I could trade your services for some of my jewelry that you use for gifts!!! You let me know, and I will put you to work, and it would get you off the sofa!!!
