I need to vent for 2.5. I have a very small window of time to leave work and get food, and I used that to go to a fast food restaurant nearby. Let me tell you why that visit ended with me calling the manager:
First of all, it took 4 MINUTES for the drive-thru people to take my order. Someone behind me ordered first AND got their food before they even knew I was there! So I finally order and come back to the station, only to find that the food was not what I ordered. So I drive all the way back, go inside and explain the situation, and guess what – they’re out of what I actually ordered. So I told them I want my money back, and they gave me a hard time about it because I didn’t have a receipt!!! THEN they didn’t even refund me the full $5 I paid!! Because I got coffee too, apparently I still had to pay for that. Don’t you think the decent thing for them to do would be apologize and offer a full refund? But nope, they DIDN’T EVEN APOLOGIZE.
I called the manager when I got back to work, and she said sorry and offered a free meal tomorrow. I don’t even want to go back there to take them up on that. What I would like is the food I ordered TODAY. Ugh!
