This is funny…WATCH!
I think she added the beginning just because it’s a law that no Gaga video can be under 6 minutes.
I have a really weird birthday tradition. Every year, the first thing I do in the morning is turn on this song and sing and dance around my room. It gets me really excited for the day!! (Which is weird, since she’s singing about her boyfriend leaving her for someone else.)
Do you have any weird birthday traditions like that? My friends who are older than me all claim this will be the last birthday I celebrate, that it's "all down hill" from here! EEK! I think every birthday will be a national holiday to me.
Did you stop celebrating your big day? What age did you stop? Find me on facebook and let me know!
And I’m so excited! Check out his new video with Eminem and Skylar Grey, “I Need a Doctor”. It’s one of those videos where the song doesn’t start until about 3 minutes in, but the video is kinda chilling!
PS – probably not safe for work…. Unless you have a super cool boss. Just sayin’.
Check out her diary video!
She broke down on Idol last night after sending Chris Medina (the guy with the fiance story) home. I honestly giggled watching Steven Tyler and Randy try to comfort her!
I share an office and hallway with Fenway and Chase. It's tough being around a bunch of dudes when you need to break down and cry! (Not that I cry at work, but let's face it - certain 'girly' days of the week will get you down!)
Ever hear a song that you don’t really like the first time, but after a while it really grows on you? That’s how I felt about Gaga’s latest “Born This Way” (and Drake. I recently came around to liking him!).
I finally saw Easy A, and this scene cracked me up. It’s just like this!
The best part is later on in the movie, her phone rings and the ringtone is "Pocketful of Sunshine".
Well luckily, I was reading Cosmo at my desk (working hard, clearly), and they have some good tips to get more time out of your day!
*2-Minute Rule: Make a list of things you need to do, then start with anything that takes 2 minutes or less. It’s a quick way to cut down the list, making it less stressful to look at and tackle!
*Ignore the beep: Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean ignore your alarm clock like I thought. Don’t be a slave to your email! Checking it every two minutes will drive you crazy. Instead, Cosmo suggests closing your inbox, but setting a timer on your computer to go off every 30 minutes to check it.
*Cut off a rambler: You know that annoying person in the next desk that tells you aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall about their weekend? (*ahemFenwayahem*+)? Shut them up. Politely say, “I’d love to hear more, but I reeeeeally have to get this done. You know how the boss gets when he has to wait! Wanna meet up for happy hour and chat?” You get work done AND drinks later! win-win!
*Give yourself a quitting time: You’re more likely to manage your time better when you force yourself to go home at a certain time. Make plans with a friend at 5:30, or if you have kids at a daycare, make sure you pick them up by a certain time every day (plus, most daycares charge you your actual first born if you’re a minute late picking them up!). When you know you HAVE to leave, you’re more likely to get everything done.
*Internet police: Aw crap, I knew this was coming. A free service at rescuetime.com will monitor how much time you spend on certain sites (facebook, anyone?) and will even block distracting sites. Because let’s face it, nobody goes on facebook for “just a minute”.
Does your work computer look like this a little too much?
+ Correction: I’m the rambler of the office. Poor Fenway has to listen to me chatter on and on while he’s trying to get work done. Sorry Fenway!
Rihanna celebrated her 23rd birthday Sunday with a performance at the NBA All Star game! I have such a girl crush on her, and I’m not afraid to admit it.
