Love those Church Ladies and those wonderful Church Bulletins!   These sentences (with all the BLOOPERS) actually appeared in church bulletins or were announced in church services:

————————-
The sermon this morning: ‘Jesus Walks on the Water.’ The sermon tonight: ‘Searching for Jesus.’
————————–
Ladies, don’t forget the rummage sale. It’s a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. Bring your husbands.
————————–
Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our community. Smile at someone who is hard to love. Say ‘Hell’ to someone who doesn’t care much about you.
————————–
Don’t let worry kill you off – let the Church help.
————————–
Next Thursday there will be tryouts for the choir. They need all the help they can get.
————————–
A bean supper will be held on Tuesday evening in the church hall.  And then the Music will follow.
————————–
At the evening service tonight, the sermon topic will be ‘What Is Hell?’ Come early and listen to our choir practice
————————–
Please place your donation in the envelope along with the deceased person you want remembered.
————————–
Potluck supper Sunday at 5:00 PM – prayer and medication to follow.
————————–
The ladies of the Church have cast off clothing of every kind. And They may be seen in the basement on Friday afternoon.
————————–
This evening at 7 PM there will be a hymn singing in the park across from the Church. Bring a blanket and come prepared to sin.
————————–
Ladies Bible Study will be held Thursday morning at 10 AM. All ladies are invited to lunch in the Fellowship Hall after the B. S. Is done.
————————–
Low Self Esteem Support Group will meet Thursday at 7 PM. Please use the back door.
————————-
The eighth-graders will be presenting Shakespeare’s Hamlet in the Church basement Friday at 7 PM.. The congregation is invited to attend this tragedy.
————————–

Well its been awhile since we talked. My son Asa is teething. I’ve noticed he will chew on anything including my furniture. He is kinda like a dog although I have not trained him to go on the newspaper. We tried putting some toys in the freezer so he could chew on something cold but he hates anything cold in his mouth. We have found that he likes carrots so that is better than catching him chewing on my old tennis shoes. He’s also started pulling himself up and standing. Tom says I am one step away from total chaos and a whirlwind of fun. Anytime he is around my computer he is pulling stuff off my desk and typing on the kkkkkkkkkeeeeeeey bbbooooored…….uh sorry about that, he’s settin’ on my lap. Fatherhood is a blast .

You know the word “blog” really sounds silly…..it’s  a “blah” with an “og” on the end.   When someone uses the term “blah” I’ve always thought it meant boring.  Do people really care about what I’m thinking…….I don’t think so. But they tell me I will be suprised.  So, I figure if you are sitting here reading this you must be bored.  Ok, Give me a second to think  …….um ……ahhh……..well…….. huh….  well I got nothin’.   Wait! Hold on.  Yeah, I think I’ve got something for ya.  A thought’s coming!  Hold on. Hold on.  Yeah, I definitely think I’ve got something……. there has to be something in here.  What is it?  It’s kinda hard to think about what you are thinking?  Have you ever thought about that?  You know, thought about thinking about what you’re thinking? That’s what I’m thinking.  Well , that’s all I’ve got right now. I hope you got as much out of this blog as I did.  It’s really been theraputic for me. Thanks for reading

The last month has been so exciting for me.  After 12 years, I finally got a new car (well, it’s new to me).  My 1994 Honda has run it’s course and now I’m sporting an ‘06 Jetta.  I’m excited that I’m part of the VDub club here at the station.  Yep, there are several of us that are sporting the Jetta, including Just Joe, and he is the coolest person I know (next to Chase).  And if you know me, you know I like being part of the cool crowd.

Dear Friend,
I am the voice of reason on the Hawk and Tom Morning Show. Join us for great music, hot news and entertainment topics, fun & games every weekday morning! We know you’ll get a kick out of Torture Tuesday, Second Date Update and crazy Crank Calls. It’s fun and I love sharing with you in the morning..
I’m a mom to Lauren, who has two beautiful children. Kaiden is the youngest, she is two on January 2nd. krew is 3 on December 13th! I love those kids!
Michael, my son-in-law is full time SC Army National Guard. A Lt., he was awarded the Bronze Star for his heroic actions in Afghanistan. He was there for 15 months,is home now and we are really proud of him!

I am proud to be the co-founder of the Beach Ball Foundation. In 09, we will have given away over $250,000 to area charities!

I consider myself a community activist, and a few of the local pols would likely call me other things. But, i think its important to pay attention to what is going on in your community. How taxpayer money is spent, how people are treated, and how we take care of our community. Yes, I am a tree hugger.

I am a vegeterian. Although, I do eat some seafood. I’m usually always on a diet. I like to dine out, watch movies, cook, golf and play Wii. I jog and lift weights for fitness, just not as often as I should.
I am a versitile Gemini, born June 19th. I would travel all the time if i could. I have visited 11 countries and lots and lots of cities in America. I really should count and figure that out.
I grew up mostly in Miami, although, I have lived in France and Germany and a number of States in the U.S.
I call Greenville,SC my home now. Downtown is awesome, one of my favorite places, next to Lake Tahoe,Paris,Rome and Miami.
I love my family. I love my job.
I appreciate you,as a listener, for letting me be a part of your life..

hi, I’m getting ready to go to a political fundraiser at North American Rescue. I love attending events like this because I can meet the cadidates and see what they are all about. I take politics seriously. Its important to know who you are voting for and what they stand for. Plus, they are usually great parties!
I became more involved in politics because a friend of mine, Gresham Barrett is a candidate for Governor. I am really proud to be supporting him. He is a good leader, a dedicated family man and has powerful ideas for moving SC into more prosperity by creating jobs with an emphasis on education. I hope you will get to know him and vote for Gresham Barrett. His wife,Natalie,is a dear friend. You would like her. She is very kind, funny and is a great mom.
have a great night. and listen tomoro morning – we’re giving more hints for the Spinx free gas for a year contest!( if someone hasnt already won it!)
xoxo
